Harm reduction work is often done with small teams, in places where the work is invisible, while engaging places of trauma, grief and violence. Harm reduction workers shouldn’t feel alone, they should feel supported and celebrated.
The purpose of the Harm Reduction Workers Guild is to:
- Share expertise and learn about harm reduction practices
- Provide opportunity to voice experiences and allow for mutual support
- Create a community of harm reduction experts working towards creating a sustainable crisis response within their respective communities
