Ronnie Grigg

President and Chair of the Board of Directors

Ronnie has been a longtime frontline harm reduction worker in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside mainly focussed on supervised consumption sites. He has had the opportunity to work, train, consult and support with harm reduction organizations in a number of places in Canada, USA, and Mexico, primarily at the pioneering supervised consumption sites Insite and Vancouver Overdose Prevention Site.

Jacob Stubbs

Secretary and Director

Jacob is a medical student at the University of British Columbia and a former harm reduction volunteer at the Overdose Prevention Society. He previously did a PhD focused on how the health of homeless and precariously housed individuals is affected by traumatic brain injury.

Timothy Grigg

Director

Tim, MDiv, MBA, is a small business owner, entrepreneur, helper, mentor, motivator with 30+ yrs charitable and non-profit board experience.

Jenna van Draanen

Director

Dr. van Draanen is a researcher, evaluator, and public health advocate who is currently leading research on the connections between sources of income, material security, and health outcomes for people who use drugs in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

Malika Lamont

Director

Malika Lamont is the Director of VOCAL-WA and the LEAD-WA TA Team. She plays a vital role in teaching the LEAD Model at Purpose Dignity Action, cultivating harm reduction practices, and care model design. Both life experience and a BA from Xavier University of Louisiana and an MPA from The Evergreen State College contribute to her extensive portfolio of work to improve social conditions through policy, research and direct service.
